The Money’s In The List

If you’ve been involved in internet marketing even a little, I’m sure you’ve heard that saying before.

But is the money really in the list? Everyone’s going to have their own opinions on opt-in email lists, but check this out:

An average internet marketer with an averagely responsive list should be able to earn somewhere around $1 per opt-in subscriber

People like John Reese, Mike Filsaime, Russell Brunson, Armand Morin, Derek Gehl and anyone else pulling in multiples of 7 figures a year online owe a big portion of it to an email list.

Why You Should Have a Coach or Mentor and How to Find One

There are thousands, if not millions, of people on the internet trying to make their dreams come true. Quite often, the difference between the people that succeed and the people that don’t succeed is a coach or a mentor.

Why do you need a coach (or mentor – used interchangeably)? That’s a fair question and there are many important reasons to have one. A coach has usually been through what you are going through and can see things that you can’t see. A mentor understands what you are experiencing right now and knows what you will experience if you continue to do what you are doing.

He or she can also recommend great products and services for you to use because they have tried most of them and know which ones are quality products and services and which ones aren’t. A mentor guides you through obstacles in your path and helps you to quickly and easily move closer and closer to your goal. A coach provides a support system that advises, steers, and cheers you on to success.

Two of the most important aspects of internet marketing include driving traffic to your website and then monetizing the traffic in some way. And one of the most lucrative ways to monetize traffic is to sell them your product or service.

Most people agree that driving qualified, targeted traffic to your website isn’t always easy, but it is doable - and you don’t want to waste the traffic you do get. For some traffic generation ideas, you can see my article on “50 Tips On Getting More Traffic To Your Website.”

No matter whether you’re selling a product or service, you want to make the most of the traffic you do get, and that involves increasing your websites conversion rate. While there are hundreds of things you can do to increase the percentage of visitors that convert into customers, the following list is what I consider 50 of the most influential elements. If there’s something monumental that I left out and you feel it should be on the list, please feel free to post it as a comment. Here you go:

What is Permission Based Internet Marketing?

Permission marketing is an Internet marketing strategy in which, in an attempt to avoid spamming and to increase customer trust and confidence, permission is asked prior to presenting the customer or potential customer with marketing materials (e.g., ads, emails, etc.). Such marketing is also known as opt-in marketing. This marketing methodology is one of the most, if not the most, effective marketing strategies for selecting highly- targeted customers.

Permission marketing, at its roots, stems from an earlier marketing movement known as relationship marketing. Relationship marketing views the merchant-customer relationship as just that - a relationship, and not merely as a sale or transaction.
