There are thousands, if not millions, of people on the internet trying to make their dreams come true. Quite often, the difference between the people that succeed and the people that don’t succeed is a coach or a mentor.
Why do you need a coach (or mentor used interchangeably)? That’s a fair question and there are many important reasons to have one. A coach has usually been through what you are going through and can see things that you can’t see. A mentor understands what you are experiencing right now and knows what you will experience if you continue to do what you are doing.
He or she can also recommend great products and services for you to use because they have tried most of them and know which ones are quality products and services and which ones aren’t. A mentor guides you through obstacles in your path and helps you to quickly and easily move closer and closer to your goal. A coach provides a support system that advises, steers, and cheers you on to success.

Two of the most important aspects of internet marketing include driving traffic to your website and then monetizing the traffic in some way. And one of the most lucrative ways to monetize traffic is to sell them your product or service.
Most people agree that driving qualified, targeted traffic to your website isn’t always easy, but it is doable – and you don’t want to waste the traffic you do get. For some traffic generation ideas, you can see my article on 50 Tips On Getting More Traffic To Your Website.
No matter whether you’re selling a product or service, you want to make the most of the traffic you do get, and that involves increasing your websites conversion rate. While there are hundreds of things you can do to increase the percentage of visitors that transfer into customers, the following list is what I consider 50 of the most influential elements. If there’s something monumental that I left out and you feel it should be on the list, please feel free to post it as a comment. Here you go:

Permission marketing is an Internet marketing strategy in which, in an attempt to avoid spamming and to increase customer trust and confidence, permission is asked prior to presenting the customer or potential customer with marketing materials (e.g., ads, emails, etc.). Such marketing is also known as opt-in marketing. This marketing methodology is one of the most, if not the most, effective marketing strategies for reaching highly- targeted customers.
Permission marketing, at its roots, stems from an earlier marketing movement known as relationship marketing. Relationship marketing views the merchant-customer relationship as just that – a relationship, and not merely as a sale or transaction.

Spam is the abuse of electronic communications media by means of bulk mailing or messaging that is unsolicited by the receiving party. Most spam is commercial, oftentimes for products that are less than above par. Spam is a method of advertisement that costs very little to the sender but one that can cost the recipients and service providers substantially.
There are numerous types of spam, the most prominent of which (and most costly) is that of email spam. Other types of spam include: Usenet spam, search engine spamming (e.g., keyword spamming), instant messaging spam, mobile phone spamming (text spamming), forum spamming, and fax spamming.
The term “spam” itself emerged in the 80’s and referred to techniques utilized by unscrupulous users of the bulletin board systems and multi-user domains (BSSs and MUDs) to prevent other users from utilizing the system by entering “SPAM” an innumerable number of times so that the other users were scrolled off screen. This then evolved into raids on “competing” chatrooms whereby the users of one chatroom would apply the above technique until the users of another chatroom until the authorized users would exit due to the interference.

Bartering is an ingenious way of getting more for less, which is great for growing your business. Instead of paying, you make a trade of products or services. The beauty of bartering is that it’s a winning situation for all. You get something to help further the success of your business by giving something you already have, which costs you a fraction of what you would otherwise have to pay. And the same is true for your bartering partner.
The internet has made bartering of products & services easier than ever before. Anybody and everybody who markets a product or service online is always looking for a good deal. Just because the Webmaster of that great site is asking for a large chunk of money to use some of that web real estate does not mean that he or she won’t take less, or even something other than money.

Affiliate marketing is a system of profit sharing, almost exclusive to Internet marketing (historically at least), that emerged in the in mid-1990s. With this form of marketing, an individual or company with a product or service for sale, recruits other individuals to sell the product for them online, the affiliate marketer receiving a commission for each sale.
CDNow.com was the first online company to offer a true affiliate program, though affiliate marketing was later popularized by Amazon.com in 1996 with the advent of their Amazon Associates Program. This program allowed associates the opportunity to post banners on their personal or business websites advertising Amazon’s products. When a product was purchased through the banner link, the associate (affiliate) received a commission off of the sale. Since then, affiliate marketing has become the premier form of marketing for both products and services online.
Affiliate marketing provides vendors with a cost effective way to reach countless other potential customers that the vendor might otherwise never have reached and allows for some significant profits for the affiliates themselves. One of the primary benefits of affiliate marketing for vendors is that it is a pay-per-performance marketing model. In other words, aside from the initial program set-up expenses, a vendor only pays when products are moving. The primary negative with affiliate marketing is that the merchant is depending on others (the affiliates) to move products (it is a sad fact that less than 5% of the individuals signing up for an affiliate program actually promote the product).

Today, blogging is more popular than ever, and it shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, it seems that nearly everyone has a blog these days. And if your business doesn’t have a blog, especially your online business, well then you are way behind the curve.
Producing a blog is one of the quickest, cheapest and easiest ways to put your business’s products and services out there before a highly targeted consumer audience. As well, blogging is one of the most cost effective forms of Internet marketing and advertisement available. Below are five specific reasons why every online business should have a blog.
1. Publishing and maintaining a blog puts you (and keeps you) in touch with your customers. Think of your blog as an ongoing, casual and open conversation with your customers (and prospects). You are able to keep your customers informed as to the ongoings of your business and they, in turn, are able to leave feedback about your products and services. With a business blog, it is no longer just a relationship of seller to buyer, but rather a community, or at least sense thereof, begins to form around your products and/or services.

There are hundreds of different ways you can get traffic to your website: There are the more traditional methods and then there are the more creative. So I figured I’d follow up my “Top 5 Ways To Drive Traffic To Your Website” with something a little different.
With the help of others and my thread on the Warrior Forum the following is what I consider the top 5 creative, overlooked and underused ways to get people to your website. Some of them are fun, some are silly and others are just plain bananas. Take them for what they are:
1. Buy a pair of sandals; get your website engraved on the bottom and walk on the beach, stomp in the mud or play in the snow.

Ezine advertising is one of the most effective forms of advertising on the internet. There are literally hundreds of thousands of ezines and newsletters on the internet, each of which has one of three main purposes: to build a relationship with your subscriber database, to make money from advertising, or a combination of both. Since this chapter is on advertising, we’re concerned with the paid advertising component of newsletters and ezines.
The main advantage of ezines as advertising vehicles is that they are delivered to a very targeted group of readers. Usually, the quality of the subscribers will be higher in ezines that focus on single, very narrow topics such as crocheting or knitting. Ezine ads generally fall into one of three categories:
