Sell Your Products Faster
So you have a great website, an awesome product or service at a great price. and you’re getting a good flow of visitors. What else can you do?
Here are some simple tips to close more deals, faster:
Offer a Risk Free Guarantee – The less risk a potential buyer feels they have if they do business with you, the more likely they are to buy from you. Don’t just stop with a money back guarantee, pay for shipping, give them more than 30 days to try your product or service, even let they keep any free bonuses they might have received. The longer and stronger the guarantee, they more business you’ll likely receive.
Create a Deadline – You can offer bonuses, a special price, free shipping or anything else if your visitors buy from you within a certain time period. Make the deadline realistic and give a reason. For example “I only have 27 CD packages left, so the next 27 people who to purchase one, get it for only $97. After that the price goes back up to $197.”
Include Testimonials – People love reading about the experiences of others with your product or service. This lets them know what benefit others got out of doing business with you, and what benefits they might expect to get as well. Even out them on the order page to reinforce that they’re making the right decision. If you don’t have any or many testimonials yet, you can offer your product or service for free in exchange for a testimonial.
Offer Easy Support – If possible offer 24hr support by phone, email and live chat. The more options you give, and the more available it is, the more comfortable prospective buyers will feel knowing that they can contact you if they have any questions.
Provide Full Contact Info – The more ways you give for a visitor to contact you the more at ease they’ll feel doing business with you. Businesses that hide behind an email address don’t appear very reputable and lose business because of it. Post your full physical mailing address, phone and fax number, as well as email address and your sales will increase somewhat.
Free Shipping – This is another added bonus you can provide for doing business with you.
Buy Now buttons – Place these everywhere on your site, so that when your visitors decide they want to buy, it’s easy for them.
Above all, make the sales process as easy and simple as possible. That way you won’t use so many sales to people that change their mind, get cold feet or get fed up trying to complete the process.
As you start to incorporate some of these things, you’ll find that you’ll sell more, but your customers will feel good about recommending your product or service to others.
