Ok. Talking about traffic, I personally use the search engine like Google, and I use some article marketing, and of course I also use and take advantage of free classified ads, and from my experience, there is a line of classified ads site on the internet (though not all) have a pretty good ranking on search engines, so I think there is no harm in using them to generate traffic that targeted to my website, and the best part of that traffic generated through search engines is an targeted traffic. That’s what all this time I use to generate traffic to my website, and great about using this method, indirectly we are also building some back links to our sites, and traffic that produced if appropriate keywords in the search by typing in Google keyword in accordance with our aim and our input into the ads or articles written, the result is, I get continuous traffic, yes.. For articles or ads that we have made, usually stored in website for a long time!
So how do you think Justin’s, whether the method I use to enter the category you’re searching for? He… he… if yes, maybe I am the one who will win the prize of this contest (god I hope so, make Justin chose me to be the winner ) Well thank you for giving me opportunity to take part in this,

I made up little stickers (1″x2″) with my URL & a 10 word description on it.
Once a week I go to 5 different gas stations & put $10 worth of gas in my truck from each place.
While I’m filling up, I stick one of the stickers either underneath the receipt slot or near the pump number.
People look at these places while they’re filling up since they’ve got nothing better to do!
Works like a charm, sends lots of visitors to my local city website.
Get even more exposure by visiting 5 totally different stations each week (since you have to fill your vehicle up anyways).

I use to promote my blog and other program with the following method:

The first method is blog commenting, although this is a traditional way, but this is one of the most effective ways that I use for blog promotion. There are many benefits that I can get, for example i can get targeted traffic to my blog, i can communicate with other blogger, so I can exchange ideas and share some tips about blog, It will increase blog position in search engine and get loyal readers by creating quality and useful articles. To optimize it.

Second, I use Facebook by creating fans page, and do a regular post. This method can increase 20% -30% visitors to the blog and other program. I also use Twitter to promote my articles. This is a very easy way. I use a mass follower tool to get thousand follower as fast as possible. This promotional method is very easy and can save my time. But it will get you traffic for sure.

I think to increase visitors there are several steps we can do, one of them is like you do.
Make a contest with attractive prizes. People will follow your blog in hopes of winning the prize. If you give a gift that will attract certain news quickly spread, but first make sure first that the blog you have many loyal readers.

I like something that doesn’t require a lot of time, but that I can provide value to get targeted traffic to my site…

To do this I usually reuse content ex.

Create a short report and link to my optin page… then I submit the report to various sites like scribd… I also may give them to other marketers to give to their list, while I give them to my list as well.

Then I’ll take that content turn it into articles and post it to article directories, web 2.0 blogs and related forums

I may even turn the article into a video and post it to video sharing sites and take the audio portion and submit that to podcast sites
…that’s how I maximize my free traffic efforts

My very first blog (fan site of the XFactor singing competition contestant) had most visitors from Google images and Google search.

I named each image as my main keyword (for search engines), also added my website address to each image (for humans to see).

Fans went crazy, downloaded my images to their computers, posted them to their Facebook, blogs and hundreds of other sites, most didn’t remove the line with my website address so I had tons of people visiting my site because it became viral.

First month I had 510 UNIQUE visitors, second month – 33,287, third month – 53,423 . Not too bad for a very first blog:)

Google images is a great way to get traffic for celebrity, art, design, humor, photography and similar sites. Even if your picture is on Google images page 20 you still have a good chance to be found.

Hi Austin,
my very favorite way to get traffic is through the Exchanges especially Thumb-Vu and StartXchange. Fast, Easy and i get to see what else is out there! it only takes about 1 hour a day and I learn all kinds of things every day.
